monitoring, evaluation & learning

Evaluation is the independent assessment of a policy, project, or process to see how it has met its desired objectives and how it has met best practices such as inclusiveness, innovation, and good governance.  We work with funders and delivery organisations to carry out formative evaluation (feeding in observations along the way) and summative evaluation at the end of a process to learn lessons for the future.  We have developed a strong track record in working with clients who are running complex programmes working towards transformational change on environmental, scientific, or societal issues. We use a mix of face to face and digital quantitative and qualitative tools including surveys, discussion platforms, workshops, and individual interviews.  We also model counter-factual scenarios.  We also support organisations over longer periods in developing their own Theory of Change and developing MEAL frameworks.
