We have worked with devolved administrations and groups of Local Authorities to map opportunities for regional development and sustainable jobs in building, energy, industry, and agricultural sectors by increasing resource efficiency, reducing waste, and enabling smart technologies.

We have worked with Local Authorities throughout the West Midlands on Green Deals (energy efficiency financed by energy company contributions). We helped clients identify retrofitting and job creation opportunities and develop schemes including joint local procurement for building retrofits.

We also helped Birmingham City Council in developing the business case and funding for the development of a large-scale housing retrofit programme, including tapping into UK Government and EU funding sources.

We have worked with many funders and NGOs to develop their climate change programmes based on evidence of what works. For example, for The Climate Group we assessed how 12 of the most climate-ambitious states and regions in the world are undertaking deep decarbonisation of their industry, energy, transport and building sectors via the Energy Transition Platform. ETP is now sharing its learning about innovation and what works with 200 states and regions globally.
